This week, my son made a groundbreaking discovery: other people’s lives don’t revolve around his train schedule.
He called a classmate at 6:47 a.m. and cheerfully asked: “Hey, I just missed my train. Can you tell the teacher I’m on my way?”
The classmate’s father picked up the phone and growled: “Shut up — some of us are trying to sleep at this hour!”
